The Sutter's Fort Environmental Living Program is a program that allows California school children the opportunity to experience life at Sutter's Fort during the 1840's. Students, and trained parent helpers, spend 24 hours portraying fort characters and partake in activities of everyday life at the fort including work and play. Students experience the various trades and entertainment of the era. This is an unforgettable educational opportunity that takes hands-on learning to its limits.

**This program will be for students in 3rd grade and up. Younger students may attend, but each family will need to have at least one student in these grades.

**IMPORTANT NOTE- Parents must attend a MANDATORY training meeting on November 4th if you sign your students up for this ELP program. Parents WILL accompany students on this trip and play a part in the living history program.

** Students in grades 9th and above who have previously participated in the event will have the option of participating as apprentices. They will choose and attend training for the station of their choice. Cost for apprentices is $80
