Join the Torrance and Long Beach Enrichment Academies at the world's most famous Ice Age fossil excavation site, located in the heart of Los Angeles! Let's go see what they are digging up!
This will be a self-guided tour lasting approximately two hours. Children must be chaperoned at all times.

Parking: Cars can park in the Museum’s parking lot located at the corner of Curson Ave. and 6th St. directly behind the Museum (enter from the western side of Curson Ave). Cash only: $12.00. The La Brea Tar Pits is wheelchair accessible. Only the spiral staircase over the Observation Pit would require transfer.

A few important reminders for you before you reserve your family’s tickets:
1) There are no refunds given once the trip closes for registration. If you plan to join us please make your order by October 20, 2017.
2) If you are planning to pay for the field trip using Instructional Funds please know that they can only be used to pay for up to two (2) adult chaperone tickets max, per Inspire family.
1 Inspire Student in your family attending the trip = 1 total Inspire Chaperone ticket.
2+ Inspire Students in your family attending the trip = 2 total Inspire Chaperone tickets.
Any other adults and non Inspire enrolled children planning to attend with you, must pay out of pocket for their space.
