We will be vising the Grammy museum on a self guided visit for the first 1.5 hours and then we enter the Music Production 101 workshop together as a group from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. The GRAMMY Museum L.A. LIVE is an exciting, interactive celebration of the power of music. Music is more than just a hobby and passion for your students, it’s a means of expression and a way they identify with and shape cultural identity. Our mission is to help students use music as a gateway to learning and as a way to inspire and cultivate creativity and critical thinking. We invite you to immerse your students in a cutting-edge experience complete with interactive exhibits, films and artifacts. Students will leave inspired to continue learning and will be more aware of how music impacts many aspects of society. Getting to the Museum, and Parking: LOCATION The GRAMMY Museum is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, California (on the corner of West Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street), in the L.A. LIVE district. The Museum entrance is located on Figueroa Street between Fleming’s and Cleo. MUSEUM PARKING AT L.A. LIVE Located in downtown Los Angeles, the GRAMMY Museum is part of the L.A. LIVE district. There are nearly 4,000 parking spaces immediately adjacent to L.A. LIVE, and more than 16,000 parking spaces available within a 7-10 minute walk to the district. Convenient on-site parking is also available. The museum recommends parking- WEST GARAGE (LOT W, GATE B) When attending an event (lasting 3½ hours or more), we recommend the West Garage (Lot W, Gate B, enter on Chick Hearn Ct.). Pay a flat rate ($10) upon entering the lot. Stay as late as you wish - don't worry about a validation. Gate B opens 3½ hours prior to event time.
