"The Happiest Homeroom On Earth"

I think everyone must know by now that I am a huge Disney fan and that my kid’s education revolves around Disney and their parks!

When we started our homeschool journey, I was lucky enough to find Celebration Education’s old Disney Classes. We enjoyed many years of thematic learning in the Disney parks and in 2015 Heather and I went on to found the Diamond Disney Days which was a specialty program that met at Disneyland once a week and then had a workshop day for the kids to extend their learning with projects. Families can now enjoy free educational Disney meet-ups with Celebration Education through their Disneyschooling Facebook Group.

Did you know that right here in our local Disney parks you can experience first hand the history of transportation, study plants, learn about making wine, barrels, corks and see a living cork tree, see a rare geological artifact up close, experience our solar system, study space travel, live and learn all about California History, study maps, learn and witness first hand many different craftsman trades, see and experience world geography, talk about and see wildlife and their habitats, study physics, engross yourself in the life of an American Legend, and much, much more, all at the Disneyland Resort?

Walt was a huge supporter of education happening in a way that was fun.

"I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.” - Walt Disney

Disney has a line of educational products too, did you know you can learn algebra concepts with Bill Nye in the Solving for X DVDs?

Disney even has their very own Youth Education Series which are educational classes designed for schools to bring their students on a field trip to Disneyland Resort. We are proud to be able to offer a number of these classes to our homeschool community this school year!

We hope you can join us!
