Two Not Back to School Events in SoCal this Week: Celebration Education & Westside Homeschool Group

If you're a homeschooling parent, then you might be very familiar with the thrill and excitement of Not Back to School time. The idea of being free to homeschool as you like and having public parks and venues suddenly freed up for less-crowded enjoyment and exploration is so exciting, you can't help but giggle and let out a little woohoo!! We're NOT going back to school, but we're going forward to educate our children in amazing and creative ways! :)

We can't think of a better way to celebrate and honor Not Back to School time, and our decisions to homeschool, than by getting out and having fun with other homeschoolers after the school year has officially started. This is a great time to meet one another and to start building community - no matter where you live.

If you do happen to live in Southern California, though, please consider heading out on Thursday, September 9, 2021, to one of these two wonderful Not Back to School events!

Join us on Thursday, September 9, for Celebration Education's Opening Celebration. Enjoy activities related to the theme of Crafting a Country. This event is free for adults and $10 for participating children.

Celebration Education's field trips are open to ALL homeschoolers, you don't have to be a member of their program to participate.

Prices are affordable and activities can be connected to your own homeschooling quite easily. Please follow the link above to register and for more information, including learning links we provide to wrap around the field trip.

This is a Not Back to School Community Building event for members of The Westside Los Angeles Homeschool/Unschool Community Group. Please visit their Facebook page to find out more about the group and consider joining if you live in the area!
